COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETINGS BP 1120.00
Meetings of the County Board of Education are conducted for the purpose of accomplishing County Board of Education business. As a matter of policy and state law, meetings shall ordinarily be held in public. The County Board may conduct closed meeting sessions to discuss certain matters which are confidential in accordance with the Brown Act.

The County Board encourages community involvement in the County Office of Education schools/programs as an essential element of effectiveness. The County Board and administration shall actively seek the input of parents/guardians and interested community members on County Board agenda items.

County Board meetings shall be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and with County Board policies adopted by the County Board to govern its actions and the actions of individual County Board members.
