Board Meetings

Unless otherwise posted, regular Board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, at 10 a.m.

Special Meetings

The Board President or a majority of the Board members may call special meetings whenever deemed necessary. For example, the Board may meet in study session to examine specific matters that require lengthy deliberation prior to formal action at a regular meeting. The meetings must be called in conformance with Government Code 54956.

Closed Meetings

All regular and special meetings of the Board are open to the public except those that are "closed sessions." Under the Ralph M. Brown Act, Government Code 54950, these specific closed meetings may be scheduled for such things as student disciplinary actions, pending litigation, employee negotiations, and threat of safety.
