Demystify coding, share basic coding skills, and introduce students to the field of computer science!
Join MCOE to celebrate computer science, December 7 – 13, 2020!
Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is an annual call to action to inspire
K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity in computer science
education, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.
Technology has been instrumental in allowing teachers and students of all ages to adapt to
the challenges of learning during 2020. Computer science education helps all students to
be effective and responsible users of the technology they depend upon.
Since 2013, millions of students worldwide have participated and there are activities for a
wide variety of interests, content areas, and grade levels. There are many ways to get
involved both online, offline, synchronously, and asynchronously! Explore the resources
below or sign up for more information, support, and grade level recommendations from
MCOE here (www.forms.gle/j1f1BZmVKShayseJ8).
