In partnership with aiEDU, MCOE invites school and district teams to join Dr. Rebecca Bailey and Randee Koller for WaiVE, a full-day, interactive workshop designed to help educators and students prepare for an AI-powered future.
The WaiVE Workshop takes place Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Fort Bragg High School, Room 306. Participants will build foundational AI literacy, strengthen their confidence in using AI as an educational tool, and explore ways to integrate AI responsibly and transparently in K–12 classrooms.
Through hands-on activities, an AI readiness survey, and growth tools, teams will create shared guidelines and identify local examples of appropriate AI use. Three follow-up virtual support sessions on September 22, October 20, and December 1 will help participants continue their progress.
