The Mendocino County Office of Education has begun using Public Surplus, an online auction platform, to sell surplus vehicles, equipment, and other items that are no longer needed. This new process helps us streamline how we handle surplus property, ensure transparency, and maximize the value we receive from these sales.
Items available through these auctions may include laptops, monitors, vehicles, lawn and garden equipment, and more. Auctions will roll out over the coming months, starting with IT equipment and lower-value vehicles, with higher-value vehicles becoming available later.
Auctions are open to the public. Please note: employees may participate in these auctions; however, all bidding and purchases must be made in accordance with the platform’s terms and conditions.
