Greatest Afterschool Community on Earth: Expanded Learning Conference 2025

The Redwood Afterschool Network’s Expanded Learning Conference returns on Saturday, October 18, 2025, bringing together educators, afterschool professionals, and community partners to celebrate and strengthen “the greatest afterschool community on earth.”

Held at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka, the conference offers a full day of collaboration, professional learning, and recognition of excellence in afterschool programming.

Keynote Speaker: Hamish Brewer

This year’s keynote will be delivered by Hamish Brewer (aka the Tattooed Skateboarding Principal), an internationally recognized educator and speaker known for his commitment to student-centered learning and community engagement. Brewer will share practical strategies and inspiration to support expanded learning programs in creating meaningful opportunities for young people.
