
Expanded learning professionals spend their days supporting students, families, and school communities. This January, we invite you to take time to support yourself. Kick off 2026 at the Expanded Learning Conference.
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, Mendocino County Office of Education and Region One Expanded Learning Network, in partnership with Lake County Office of Education and Konocti Unified School District, will host the Expanded Learning Conference: Reset, Recharge, Reconnect, a full-day experience designed to strengthen well-being, build connections, and leave participants feeling seen, supported, and empowered.
A Day Focused on You
This conference offers a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your purpose in expanded learning. The day will feature a keynote address by MaryCatherine McDonald, PhD, author of The Joy Reset, whose work centers on resilience, joy, and sustainable well-being for educators and helping professionals.
Participants will choose from interactive breakout sessions, including:

- Cultivating Connections
- Mental Health Awareness
- The Egg Game
- And more opportunities to learn and engage
