Quality Counts Mendocino is hosting its third annual Play in Practice (PiP) event on Saturday, March 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Redwood Valley. This free event includes lunch, and simultaneous Spanish interpretation is available.
This year’s theme highlights STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Participants will explore practical strategies for bringing more STEAM-based play into their programs and classrooms.
The keynote speaker, MCOE’s Kristin Hills, will share resources connected to Count, Play, Explore, a statewide STEAM initiative. Breakout sessions will be led by local educators and the CPIN Regional Lead.
