Financial Literacy Training Opportunity for High School Educators

Financial Literacy Training Opportunity for High School Educators

High school educators are invited to strengthen their financial literacy instruction through an upcoming professional learning opportunity hosted at the Mendocino County Office of Education.

On April 22, 2026, MCOE will host FinCamp: Teach Money • Change Lives, an immersive, in-person professional development event focused on practical strategies for teaching personal finance. Participants will explore engaging lessons, classroom-ready resources, and strategies that help students build real-world money skills.

Educators will gain hands-on teaching tools they can use immediately in the classroom, access engaging lesson plans, and connect with other teachers working to expand financial literacy education.

The training also provides an opportunity for educators to collaborate with colleagues who are passionate about preparing students for financial success after high school.
